VIG: Making room for personalized medicine

During the last Knowledge Workshop of the Association for Innovative Medicines (VIG) on January 24th in The Hague, Personalized Medicine was central. Knowledge of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) and the Therapy-on-Maat company VitrOmics in the field of personalized medicine were brought together by the VIG with the aim of informing those present about the current state of affairs. Although there is a lot to do about personalized medicine, there is still a lack of clarity among health care professionals, which is what personalised medicine really means.
